Yeah...that's the same hook up I have Reb. Only thing is I weigh a lot so I have a rig putting the huge battery I got in the back of the boat. I 've run jumper cable wire to the back of the boat nice and hidden and out of sight. Walmart has a nice 40 Minn Kota Thrust for about 145.00.

well right now i pretty much have motors for it. i won't technically own them. the guy i'll be getting them from doesn't want to get rid of them so they're on a long term loan unless for some reason they need them.

saturday i also built my removable fishing deck for the front. it was pretty easy. i just need to finish the bottom supports and seal it.

Can you send us a picture when your finished. Sounds nice. The deck actually sounds like a good idea. I could stow away my life jackets in there. Talking about life jackets.....my son sold his big bass boat and took the life jackets from my jon boat and let his boss use them. He did not tell me. I went bluegill fishing the other day and lo and behold Mr. Gamewarden pulls up beside me. No life jackets..65.00 fine. My son paid it.
And I got a warning for no whistle. IN Florida we have to hve a sounding device as well.

yeah no problem i'll post pics when i get done with it. i'm not sure when that's going to be though. i have the deck all but done but i don't have the funds for paint and everything right now. but when i do get it i'll have some pics.

There used to be a famous bass fishermen who also majored in Science. name was Doug.Hannon He was famous for catching the mostfish over 10 pounds. His boat....a 10 foot jon boat and it was fixed up nice.
