A good all-round bass rig?
What would be a good all round bass rig? I need something fairly cheap, I don't want a $150 rod and a $60 reel. I prefer a spinning reel, just for the way they feel in my hand, but if thats not a good bass reel, then I guess I will live. Got any idea?

Sure 6 1/2 foot Berkley Bionic Med. Rod 35.00
or Lightening Rod 6 1/2footMedium28.00
Any of their 30.00 Shimano Reels
10 lb Trilene 250 yds. 6.00
Buy at Walmart. If you don't like it ...take it back.

I bought 3 along time ago . I was hoping to catch some Sunshine Bass with them. I did not catch anything. My favorite bait similiar to that which I have lost count of the fish I've caught is the .......3/8 ounce White Rooster Tail.

http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=53109&hvarDept=100&a mp;hvarEvent=&hvarClassCode=1&hvarSubCode= 2&hvarTarget=browse
that is a great reel and below this is a good rod to match it.

imo that is the best $100 spinning set-up
