It was weighed on a cheapo rapala spring scale. I didnt take it anywhere to have it weighed since she was full of eggs and i didnt want to risk it. But according to it, it was SLIGHTLY over 8 pounds. I will put some weights on the scale and verify its accuracy next time im at home.

I've got a rapala scales too. Electronic. I hate it.When it works it's great. If I think I'm going to catch a monster i bring my post office scales or.....................You can measure the fish ,say 24 inches multiply it times it self
24 times 24
then multily that times the girth. Lastly, divide that total number by 1200 and that will get it within a couple of ounces.
