Franchi 912 shotgun
I posted earlier threads about the 935 and the 870, I saw this franchi gun today and shouldered it along with a SBE and couldn't tell which one was which with out loing at the side of it. Anybody heard of this Franchi 912 autoloader, or how it patterns or it's dependablity?

The 912 is a very good gun. It's a big brother to the Franchi 612. They are very reliable, easy to clean, and have a lot of features. I personally don't think the SBE and 912 feel anything alike, but that's me. Patterns should be similar to the Benelli's and Beretta's because of their bore diameters. They also share the same Mobil choke system. Benelli imports Franchi's and Stoeger's. All of them are owned by Beretta.

I have never actually shot one but all I have heard is great things. I actually went in to order one a couple years ago and ended up walking out with an 1187 instead but I would buy one if I wanted another semi auto.

RE: Franchi 912 shotgun
Well folks I finally made a decision, I saw a used black Winchester super X2 at the shop and was going to buy but stopped of at a Dick's sporting goods store to buy some shells before I went and saw a gun mispriced, I ended up buying a Win super x2 NWTF edition in Mossy oak 24 in barrel with fiber optic sights for 700.00 . I found mt gun at winchester online and it goes for 1259.00 . What a steal , those people really screwed up , after I bought it they found out what it was and how much it costs and had the nerve to ask me for 400.00 more dollars. they should have been on there game better. Just a story with a happy ending for once, about time with me.
