savage 110 270

do a search in the archives for Savage talk, you will find probably 6 or 7 posts a month about them, to my knowledge, none have been negative, I own two myself, a 110 in 7mm rem mag, and a 111 in 300 RUM, both are my most accurate rifles.

I have a Savage 110 .270 also. I bought it slightly used from a friend. It shoots like a wet dream with whatever you feed it. It is/was my back up gun so I rarely used it. For value, dependability and accuracy you can't beat a Savage.

i had one but i sold it because i couldnt deer hunt with it here in indiana. the gun was awesome, extremely accurate...if i could deer hunt i would definintely still have it. They may not be the best to look at or anything, but they are accurate and reliable guns.

I bought a LH model for my son's 16th BD and we both like it. Since he's a skinny kid with little meat on his bones I got some reduced recoil loads which worked really well. He got his first deer this year.
Don't know who's going to be shooting it next year.

I have a 110 in 30-06 I bought used and even with the Simmons package scope on top it is as accurate as anything else out there. I bought it because I am on a budget but quickly realized it is a diamond in the rough. It has now become my main deer hunting rig and I hope to get another 110 in a Mag caliber later this summer.
