I bought a NEA in .223 caliber three years ago, I had a cheap Simmons scope and mounted it on the rifle. Since then it has been kept behind the seat of my 1978 Ford hunting truck and been given unbelievable abuse, it shoots straight and works very well. I paid $167.00 for it wholesale through a dealer. It is a great rifle for varmints or anything else.
