Looking for a varmint rifle in .223. Which is better a Remington 700 synthetic Varmit VS or a Sako 75 Varmint Stainless/laminated ? Or is there another I should consider ?
Any help is great help..........

I won't say the Sako will out shoot the Remington right out of the box like the others stated. I will however say the Sako is a much nicer gun. The difference in price will be in fit and finish, a smoother/shorter bolt throw, and higher overall quality. I too like the Sako over the Remington for those reasons.

I think they are both fine rifles well suited for their intended use. A very good friend just sold a older model 243 Sako VArmint rifle with the Bofors barrel for 1000 bucks and the gun looked brand new and shot beautifully.
