Those Federal 180 grain premium cartridges with Partition bullets would be great if they shoot good in your gun. I think someone also loads the Speer Grald slams as well. DUUUH I quess Speer loads them themselves. Those would be another good choice. I always feel confident with my Handloads with 180 or 190 grn. Hornady BTSP. Love that 190 Grain Hornady in the 308 for Elk as well. In the 243, the only bullet I have found with a sectional density of .260 is the Barnes Original 115 grain. .260 is a good rule of thumb for Elk bullets.(sectional Density).
