Somewhat recently I went looking for a smaller handgun to carry that could be easily concealed. I was looking for something smaller than my regular Sig P320 9mm yet powerful enough to chnage a bad guys mind or life. I have always been a revolver fan and chose the Taurus 605 Poly Protector in .357 mag. I practice with .38 special ammo and it shoots very, very well. I also practice with my carry ammo of Hornady Critical Defense and it is just as accurate. It came with 2 rubber grips, a 3-finger and shorter 2-finger and I have to say shooting the mag loads is no problem even with the smaller grip. Now the noise is incredible and you practically need a respirator when shooting indoor ranges.It has proven everything I wanted and I find myself carrying it quite often.

I had a 605 also but mine was all steel. I have since traded it away. I do have to say though that it was a fine revolver and I carried it a lot. Mine was a little 2" barrel and with full house .357s it was a real flame thrower!
