Default Choice was made

I started thinking of a new CC firearm. I choose 9mm as the caliber. Plenty potent enough and lends to control-ability and quicker follow up in a smaller firearm. I was originally looked into the Springfield XD but backed away from it. I realize there are going to be trade offs between different firearms but there were too many little things that didn't sit well with me.

So I was then at the Glock 26. The mag release again was under my thumb, the finger groove doesn't match my fingers and I really don't like their take-down release. Seemed slippery.

I found the Sig P320 sub-compact to fit my hand the best and was worth the price.

I hope you like your Sig. If I would have seen your post earlier I would have suggested the S&W M&P. It comes in a std size and a compact in both 9mm and 40 S&W. I like it it because it has the interchangeable hand grips and all the functions are ambidexterous which is perfect for a lefty with gorilla paws like me.

I had considered the M&P 9c. I've shot the Shield 9mm and the M&P fullsize and shot them well nut the 9c seemed slippery. The Sig just felt good and its grip isn't slippery feeling at all.

So I'm waiting until next week to go out and shoot the new Sig. Going with a group and we will all have the opportunity to shoot each others different 9mm pistols.
