Thanks for the info. I think I am going to get a Magnum Research 460 with a 10" barrel. And yea, I am looking for big and bad. I have all the other calibers from 44 mag, 45 colt, 357mag, and everything in between.

Right now my ffl dealer said a 460 will take a while to get in. I sure will post pics when I get it. He said within the next month or so. I could order one on line, but want to use my ffl dealer, he is a good guy that does me right all the time. So I can wait.

So are any makers regularly producing X-frame holster rigs in the various barrel lengths yet? I'm still not sure where I like carrying my SBH's or SRH's, carried my BFR on my thigh with a drop rig and gunbelt suspenders (can't say I recommend that though), really not sure where I'd want to sling the X-frames...

Smith, Desantis, and a few others make one. A shoulder holster that lays across your belly is what i am thinking. Definently off the Hip. K-frame wobbles around on the hip so i could only imagine an x frame.

I had the 454 Casull and 480 Ruger in the BFR and got rid of both of them cause the wrist snap. I now have the S&W X-frame in 460. LOVE IT!!!!! Would never own a BFR again because of the wrist snap. Look at the S&W before the BFR if your are not a fan of recoil. IMHO.
