Default RE: Rem 700 ADL or 710 ???

For what they are going for now I' d take the 700 as it is a solid gun. But like I said I picked one up a couple of years ago (710) for $200. I hunt with guys who shoot all kinds of high dollar guns and can' t shoot for s$$$. I have found that folks don' t have too much to say about your equipment after they have seen your results. Like I said before the 710 is no family heirloom but in the right hands (and with a little work on the trigger) can be a very capable entry level gun. We shall see how it holds up over time but till then dead is dead and the deer don' t seem to care as they hit the ground. So to each his own. Plan on getting a new .30-06 in the near future so my plastic POS will become my backup. But I tell you this I am comfortable with its capabilities and don' t worry when I pull it from the case.
