I have one and have taken 4 moose and 1 black bear with it so far. Worked excellent on all animals with barnes 140gr tsx.

Another vote for the 7-08. Such a light recoil really allows you to concentrate on making the shot. I've got a Tikka T3 in 7-08, and it's the most accurate rifle I've ever owned.
