Gun shop find

Looking around my local shop the other day found old westernfield 22 rifle. It's a 491a dealer just got in day before. He let it go so he didn't have to mess with it. Not much call for these in my area. Decided to take it home. Check the crossover to find out it's a mossberg 46B. I'm happy, The dealers happy. Think i got a good deal at 45 dollars. Already looking for extras for it.

The Mossberg mod 46B was introduced in 1938 and dropped in 1940. As a good quality bolt action target rifle it should be worth $200 in reasonable shape. Mossberg collectors might well pay more. Check out the market at Auctionarms.com The 46b-b was produced after the Second World War, 1947 to 1949.
