Does anyone know of a website where I can get information on this company? A friend has gotten an old SS 12ga. and would like to get some info on it. Have they been swallowed up by another maker or just gone out of business?

Hopkins & Allen, Norwich Connecticut. Established 1868. It doesn' t say a lot about them ,but it did say they made a lot of shotguns that were sold under different names . and they valued them from $100 to $1000 depending on model and condition . They show reference to guns being made as late as 1892 .

Appreciate the info. It may not be much, but it' s a whole lot more than I had. It may not be an easy chore finding more on the shotgun that my friend acquired.
Just have to keep looking. Thamks
