I looked at the new model 70 yesterday and was not impressed. Everything seemed to function well and the fit was alright but the finish was bad. There were tool marks all over on the metal. Obviously there had been very little polishing done before the finish was applied. It looked really bad, not like the featherweights from New Haven. Iwould not have bought it at half the price.

I compare them all to my pre-64, and none of them even comes close

Guess that's why I stuck with my old ones!
