What was wrong with the .416 ruger?

Not that I have to decide soon, so perhaps by the time I do the decision will make itself but, which .416 to get...?

In my own mind its really only between the .416 Rigby or Ruger, though Remington might have a chance.

It barely meets minimum caliber requirements for prarie dogs. Hope you are quick on follow up shots so you don't leave any wounded animals that could charge and maime you or your hunting guide. I would have gone with nothing smaller than a .458mag

Sounds like a heck of a set-up. Those dastardly chipmunks had better watch out! Congrats Ron.

you're a brave man indeed. Just make sure your health insurance is up to date. And remember never look a chipmunk in the eye or he will charge everytime. They have been known to take several solids before going down.

It's certainly a quality round from what I see/read.

I really want a .375H&H in a model 70...make'em already winchester! I don't need a .325wsm....I need a .375!

I think I'll get a .458 before I get a .416, I guess I like to dream about big bores...I was certain I wanted a .458 Lott, but that .450 Rigby is looking pretty slick.

Same with that .416 ruger, great round, but will it overtake a .416 rigby? .416 remington? Maybe when I finally am able to get one, why not get two? why decide right? just get both! haha.
