I use a v-max out of all my varmint rifles. I guess I'm not worried about a $10 coyote pelt though. If I was in it for the money I wouldn't be in it.

I have had good luck with the 32gr vmax factory or reloads. I was working on 39gr and 40gr loads when Obama mania took hold and I couldn't get any powder. I would recommend the heaiver bullets if your gun will shoot them accurately. They will all explode inside the animal and will very rarely exit.

For years I used my heavy barrel 25-06 on yotes with an 87gr bullet. No matter where I hit them they are done. Not a pelt bullet but a good one.
