What do ya'll like better, Savage 110 or Remington 700 in 7mm Rem. Mag.

13pt - This is totally up to you. The question is Which one fits you better?
This is not like comparing apples to oranges, its more like comparing red delicious apples to golden delicious apples.
For out of the box accuracy, I would lean toward the Savage. Also, Savage did have an issue with flimsy synthetic stocks but have since rectified that problem with a stiffer one and also a newly developed bedding system. Considering these new features, would make me want the Savage even more. Especially since I have 5 already that shoot fantastically. (I have a few Rems that shoot pretty good too)

Like Bronko said, it's totally up to you. I chose the 700, bought mine 33 years ago and it still shots sub MOA groups with factory ammo.

I have both. The Savage 110 is hands down more accurate in my case; however, I don't hunt with it due to the crappy feel of the stock. The 700fits mebetter, and therefore downs the deer for me.

I like vanilla ice cream, new york strip steaks,ford trucks, cessna light airplanes, mossy oak camo and Savage 110's better than Remingtons 700's.

FWIW-Over at RFC there's been quite a few QC threads turning up with Savage rimfires lately.I don't know if the same's been happening with their other lines but they're made in the same place by the same workers.Something to consider for the time being.

I would go with the Vanguard by Weatherby its in the same price range.

Agreed. Best value out there, IMHO.
