RE: Do I have it covered ?

I do have Battery of scatter guns including;

20 gauge S X S

12 gauge O/U field gun

12 gauge O/U range gun

12 gauge camo auto loader

I forgot to mention, I have a 35 marlin lever for my "brush" gun.

Lastly, if there was a question as to the 7MM; it's a Rem Mag (Sako A7 Stainless)

ORIGINAL: Blackelk

Mine as follows:
22lr one target one small game
22-250
270 win
300 win mag
375 h&h
444 marlin
41 rem mag's, never go down for lack of shooting back. At least one of these go on every hunt.
Another 41 mag fan I have "5" revolvers and one rifle. Great cartridge period!

I also think everyone needs a 375 H&H to top out their shooting collection and or a 45/70 heavy loads in a Marlin 1895. Need something to rock your world and whatever you persue! JMO:):):)

I don't see how you can get by without a .22LR rifle or pistol. The cheapest to shoot of all, the .22LR makes for excellent way to practice without breaking your wallet plumb in 2.

I'm not much of a varmint shooter so I'd go with the "minimum recoil/maximum killing power" battery: [ul][*].22lr[*].270 Win[*].338 Federal[/ul]

Looks like everybody agrees on the .22LR, and for good reason.

Colorado Luckydog put he shot center mass! Trying to cover all the bases usally cuases one to come intocontact a very serious sickness known onlyto gun nuts such as ourselves! hehehe

The gaps cannot be filled or the holes pluged... all that one can hope for is to be blessed with the discerment as to which one will I use today?

As luckydog pointed out... millions can be spent on new fancy pants high speed low drag equipment, but when the time comes, ol' faithful is the one in your hands.

I think you have North America andpretty much the rest of the planet covered with your arsenal of weaponry!

I'd look at gittin a 22 rifle,i have a Ruger 10/22 and love it.The reciever screws threads stripped,im gonna get that fixed before squirrel season, but when i had the scope on it, it would shoot 3/4'' groups at 50 yards with CCI mini-mag HP.And it would be much cheaper to shoot than the 17hmr.I'm about to buy a Marlin 917v 17 hmr next month.
