anyone have one of the Mosberg 4x4 rifles?
what do you think of it?

I good hunting buddy of my had one last year hes sold it to his brother and bought a new rifle. Says it was a mistake and it was the best shooting 30-06 he's ever had. Next year he is going to buy a new one.

i dont have a 4x4 but i do have the atr 100 in .270. from what i understand its got the same action and stuff. my atr shoots awsome. i wouldnt think twice if i was looking for a new gun.id go for the 4x4. i like the looks of the stocks over the plain stock on the atr 100.

One word, HEAVY.

Other than that it seems ok. I only lifted one to my shoulder but did not fire it. It was a stainless laminate for under $600..

I have no first hand knolege of them, but I do know a few people who have them and they are all very happy.
