Im a big fan of Butler Creeks's Confort stretch sling. Gives when you walk. Kinda nice on the ol' shoulder!

Well I brought the Quake “Claw” slings and some Uncle Mike’s swivels and took them to my local Vietnamese tailor to remove the plastic crap and replace with the Uncle Mike’s quick detachable swivels.

Went out this past weekend coyote hunting and climbed over gate after gate in and out of various cattle pastures and my Savage never budged.

The true test will be the first rainy day in the field.

I now have that sling set-up on all my rifles and my Extrema,

So far, I could not be happier!!!

I bought a large box of mixed Swedish military slings a year or so ago.- I got everything from Submachinegun slings to M96 rifle slings- for about $3 a piece. Nice slings- wide leather, brass hardware, very well made.

I got the Ultra-Flexslingat a gun show. It is a bit $$$, but awesome for anchoring the gun on your shoulder.

I had a nylon and it was horrible. Now I can climb or walk without constantly adjusting or worrying about my rifle sliding off.

Haven't needed to wear it backback style (crossing the chest), but it should be good forlonger treks.
