RE: 1187 or ?
What price range are you looking at? The 1187 is a great semi-auto, but at 8 1/4 pounds I personlly think it's very heavy to carry compared to my Benelli M2 at around 7 1/4 pounds. The Benelli M2 goes for around $1,050.00. I would suggest the Franchi I12 in the $700.00 range, or the Stoeger 2000 in the $400.00 range. The weight listed on the last two are around 7 1/4 pounds. I've heard good things about the Stoeger 2000, but I think that the finish on it is not up to par with the other two I have listed, and have seena brand new one on the sales rack that was starting to develop rust around the vented part of the barrel.

Bowtech 360,
Hunting the North gave you a great recommendation.
This is what I went with and i love it.

Keep in mind,as a "gas" gun (rather than inertia) it does require cleaning more often, but gas guns havelighter recoil.

Rem-1187, Benelli M1-M2 field or Moss 935 will all outlast you most likely. All 3 good guns with good track records. It is a matter of how much you want to spend and also which gun feels best in your hands.
