I'm concidering buying a 4x4 in the 25-06 cal. can anyone shed some light on the gun for me ,I haven't really heard a lot about the 4x4 but the look sweet!!!

I don't own one but have looked them and they looked alright for the price. The only good thing I can reliably tell you about them is that I have never heard anything negative about them as far as how they shoot or function. Every person I have heard of that owns one was happy with the purchase.

For a budget minded hunter it is pretty hard to beat Stevens, the newer mossbergs or a Howa if you want to spend a few extra dollars.

I was looking at them and almost bought one then I decided on a HOWA and I am real glad with my decision.

I have a buddy who bought one in 30-06 and loves it. He shot several deer with it last year and now picks it up over his savage 30-06.
