Ed Brown Rifles?

Anyone have any experience with their rifles? particularly the Express model?

Considering a .375H&H, looking for a synthetic stock w/ stainless barrel, barrel can be coated etc....but stainless none the less. Also want it to have a controlled feed action.

Any other suggestions? I know Rem and Browning prob offer something....

Why not a Model 70?

Neither the Ed Brown, Remington 700, or Browning are CRF. Remington is importing a mauser clone that is but I'm pretty sure it's not Stainless. The Kimber Talkeetna sounds perfect. That is if your willing to spend Ed Brown type money.

Yep, they do/did. I'm also looking for a stainless 70 Classic magnum action if you come across one. ;)

just came across that talkeetna by kimber....looks like its half the price of the Ed Brown.

I believe the Ed Brown website says its controlled feed....the "express" or the "bushveld"

Also found a Remington model 798...which has a controlled feed, though its laminated, and not stainless, though a great price, quite a combo for that price, though ya I think that Kimber Talkeetna is winning the race so far. It appears to be almost an exact copy of a Win Mod 70.....well very similar....I'm liking it.

The Ed Brown is indeed a CRF. Though i haven't handles his rifles, if they are as high a quality product as his 1911's are then they will be one fine rifle.

Another CRF rifle that is a great value is CZ.

thanks for the link, Jeep,

checked it out, looks awesome, I think if that barrel were 22-24" I'd be very interested. I'm really liking that Kimber...
