Default CZ 527 Varmint Kevlar

I've got the bug to buy another 223 bolt action. Whats everyone's opinion on the CZ 527 Varmint Kevlar. I was playing with one the other day at the gunshop, and it was begging me to bring it home with me.

I think I had this same post a year ago, and no one really responded to that one either.

I suppose I'll have to bite the bullet and get one

Think a Leupold VX-III 4.5-14x40 with the VH reticle would be sufficient?

Rammer,
"Another" 223, you must have money to burn.
Would not be a bad choice for someone who NEEDS a 223.
CZ quality and accuracy, only 7 1/2 lbs., detactable box magazine, SS trigger, 24 inch barrel, Mauser style action, MSRP $869...............why not!!!!!!!

Sheridan,
Don't really have the money to burn. I got a few hunting items that I will be trading/selling. I can get a brand new in box CZ for $650 thru local dealer.

I do have a few 223s laying around, can never have too many though.

I need that 204!!!!!
Rammer - Can I get the web address (or phone number) for that dealer you are talking about?
That's a good price for that gun.

I ahve a CZ 527 American in 204. The gun out shoots me easily. I can keep groups around 1/2in to 3/4inwith 32gr Remington Accutips. I would love to see how it dose with some good handloads.

Quote from Predator Master;

"CZ just has some things most folks don't like. Mag, safety, bolt handle, or ring mounts."

I'm strongly looking at the CZ 550 Varmint Kevlar, are we speaking of the same rifle? I want one in .22-250, personally in my opinion there are only 2 varmint rounds, .22-250 Rem, which is popular, and .220 Swift which may be the best, but not as available. I wish the best cartridges were also the most popular, don't you agree?
