Good or bad?

What do you know or what have you heard?

Talked to local dealer yesterday and he said that all changes where merely cosmetic. Still waiting to see one in person but from what i have heard it may be mid to late march.

Whats the difference between the A-bolt and the X-bolt? I've always bought Remington's but I want to get the 325WSM.:D

I'd think twice about that .325 WSM. The jury is still out so it seems.

The .300 WSM is a certain success.

I do like the .325, bigger bullets etc.....I have a .340 Wby for that reason, over my .300 win mag., considering getting a .300 wsm in place of my win mag as a lightweight elk setup or just lightweight setup for some bigger stuff.

I justlooked up the price of the 325 wsm and my God. I was kind of liking them till I found out they're $60 to $90 bucks a box. I'll stick to my $14 a box .270's.

I think there are more than just cosmetic (stock) changes. I believe they will have arotary magazine to imprve feeding and a new trigger that is supposed to be much better than the old A-bolt trigger. I would hope they would add the new triggers to their whole line but I don't know.

It has a different magazine, stock style, an improved trigger and a 3 position safety. It also has a unique scope base system. If it is like most Abolts it will shoot lights out.

I have a Browning in a .325 short mag, and have gone buffalo hunting twice; it has put both of them down with one shot each.
Am going hog hunting down in Texas this spring and once again I will be bringing the .325. It is a very accurate gun for throwing such a large bullet. The .325 is advertised as flying faster than the .300 short mag and hitting harder (more energy) than a .338 mag. I would not trade my .325 for any other caliber. The .325 will crush anything in North America.

My buddy works at a gunshop and he said he got his first look at their first one in.

Plastic drop out mag, no more swinging mag door.

He said it had a GREAT trigger on it.

He said the scope bases are special order, and they haven't seen any yet.

Also said something about being able to work the bolt when its on safe.

Thats all I know so far. I just might get one later on this summer if funds allow. I've been wanting to add another 7mm-08 to my collection.
