RE: fixed power scope

Thanks for the input. I'm going with the IOR 6x42 tacticle. It will be mounted on a Browning A-Bolt composite stalker in 25-06 Rem. I'll keep ya posted.

Thanks again.

My son shoots a Ruger MKII 25-06 and shot a 3pt bull elk at 400 yards two weeks ago.A handloaded 120 gr Hornady HP/54gr 4831SC took out a rib entering and one exiting.Never made it out of the field.Nice caliber. The IOR optics are top drawer all the way as you know only used by the Romanian military until recently privatized for public sale.{after they took their Dictator for a one way walk in the flower garden]...........Harold *should be a surgical rig no doubt!

I am very pleased with my Weaver Grand Slam 4.75 x 40. Natchezss.com has them on sale for $139. Usually about $250.

I have 7 different rifles and have 6 power Leopold on all of them. I have never had a problem and I have had some of them for over 40 years. What I like about them is every one is exactly the same and have duplex cross hairs so when I take whatever rifle the sight picture never changes.
