Dobber, would agree with what CZ said, once you buy a .30-06, you never really need another centerfire rifle unless you find yourself in Africa. The only Browning I have owned was a Stainless Stalker w/Boss in .243. I loved the rifle. I tended to trade a lot of rifles around in my earlier years, and it went away. It was a fantastic rifle, grouped well, no recoil, and ergonomically felt as good as any rifle I have ever owned. Would highly recommend the Browning's.

I much prefer the t-3 because of it's simpler magazine and bolt assemblies, and a much better trigger. The browning has more moving parts than I like to have in a hunting rifle.

why would you need a boss on a .243?

I have a Browning A-Bolt in 243wssm I love it. It fits me good and it a real tack driver. As for the T-3 never shot 1 so I'm no help there. Good luck in your search.
