Well, I posted a few weeks ago about buying this rifle and after mounting a scope and shooting with it, it is pretty much the same story you've all heard. Real accurate, fits well, a pleasure to shoot, and the ugliest stock in the business. I couldnt be happier for 289 before taxes! EJ

Bought my son the same rifle except in 7-08 cal for his first deer hunting rifle. I'm not crazy about the stock either but the gun shoots great and the boy loves it. I guess that what counts.

I just bought this one two weeks ago. Your right the grey sythetic stock doesn't look so nice so I doctored mine up.
$9.00 worth of spray paint, leaves from my back yard and this is what I got. The scope as you can tell was bought that way ( Nikon Buckmaster HD Realtree camo).
I won the bid today on a bipod that I will camo as well and I'm set.
This is strickly bought for Cyotes and it's chambered in a 243. What a tac driver.

The paint is Krylon Camouflage. It's extra flat and dries in minutes.
The reason I said it was strickly for Cyotes is because I live in Ohio and can't use it for deer here. I hope to use it for deer at some point if I get a trip out of state planned but I bought it with cyotes in mind.
