Glad you guys liked the pictures and thank you for the compliments...
The main reasons for using the H&R as a building platform was the trigger, the lock-up and it offered the greatest accuracy potential for building from...
These guns consistantly shoot well under 1/4" at 50 yards with many targets shot in the low 1's and several in the 0's with our smallest group being .062 for 5-shots at 50 yards....

Very nice.
I took my NEF in .22 hornet to a local gunsmith for trigger work, he wouldnt touch it and didnt recomend letting anybody do it. why did he tell me that?
I dont know much about this department. He said it would break easily or be dangrous or something like that.

I do not know why your gunsmith would not work on the trigger of your 22 Hornet. I've been reworking these triggers for over 20 years and find them just as "safe" as any trigger out there. They are easier to rework that the T/C Contender and Encore triggers but I rework tham as well...
Weather permitting, we should have some target ready to post from our new Match .22 by the end of this weekend. If it performs like the others we have been building, targets should be pretty impressive to say the least. Good or bad, results will be posted once we get the chance to shoot it....

while I was waiting for the pic to load and seeing some of the target before it was done loading I was thinking to myself I hope that gun shoots better than that considering the time and effort and money that goes into one of these stub guns. Because my ruger 10-22 with a 20" clerke heavy barrel shoots tighter groups than these at 50 yards.
