Which would you choose?
In the .40 cal.
Glock model 22
Beretta Px4
Beretta 90two
Springfeild XD ported model
Ruger .40
I got to shoot alot this last weekend and I decided on a .40 cal semi auto. I shot the Glock and enjoyed it but I thought it would be worth my time to look at these others. I shot 2 different H&K's and decided against them.
So... What do you like? Let me know

RE: Which would you choose?
You left out another nice one - the Steyr M40. This one fits me better than any of the others and I love the trapazoid sights. I am surprised that no other manf. uses these. They are easy to see and very fast at target acquisition.

Ugh. Nothing but double actions.
Try a Para-Ordnance P16-40. Single action, double stack, 1911. Shoot it in competition and you'll shoot rings around those other pistols you named.
IPSC/USPSA had to make "special" classes for double actions because they are not competitive with 1911's. Kinda like putting Corky in a Quantum Physics class.
