Rem model 7400
#1
I picked up a model 7400 syn in 270 cal. I hunt in river bottoms most of the time but there are feilds in the area where you could get a 300 yrd shot. The gun is a 2005, is this gun accurate enough to make a 300 yrd
shot if I do my part ?

IF you intend to take shots at such ranges, you need a lot of practice shooting at that range and beyond, anyway. So it will be ammo well spent!

Hey I just picked one up from the WAL-MART in Conway N.H. in the 30-06 they said that they had them on clearence as last year was the last year that they were going to make them. Anyway I got the synthetc and blued model and only paid $327.00 for the gun. How could I pass that deal. They had one more in the 270 but I was a little low on bucks. Any way I brought it home and mounted a Nikon Buckmaster 3-9 scope on it and sighted it in. I can't belive how well this gun groups I get less then 1/2 at 100 yards from a bench. Thats the best group I have out of any of my other guns. And I just used the cheap Remmington Cor-Lot PSP 150 I can't wait till I can put some preamiam Ammo through it. I let you all know when I do and the results. Mike
