Hey Guys ,
Ijust finish putting together whatI think isthe most awesome combination of a rifle and scope .It consist of a remington 700 custom deluxe in 300 RUM and a 4.5x14x50 mm VX-111 leupold scope with the boone & crocket recticle . I can't wait to go to the range to sight this one in at 300 yds . please feel free to state your openion on thisI would love to get yourfeed back on this .Also i see the leupold scope is still on top the poll .I don't use anything other then leupold on my guns
(rifle & pistols).

I own two 300ultramags myself,so I do like your choice of cartridge.However I would have gone with a scope with a 40mm objective.When you mount the scope higher as you have to with a 50mm lens,you usually can't get a proper cheek position and a hard recoiling rifle will often slap your cheek as a result.
