Anything stainless synthetic, that being said I am partial to the Ruger all weather as well.

When I decided to finally get an all weather gun the Ruger in 270WSM just jumped off the rack into my hands.

Value wise and also great shooters would be the Savage Weather Warrior. I also had and liked the Ruger in 260 that I owned a while back.

i pseronaly dont think any one rifle can be fingered as the best all weather rifle if rust and water resistance are the only thing we are looking at. extreme cold weather and general muck in the action will spoil a hunt before rust will ever set in. that said id go for a proven action like a sako, enfield, springfield 03' or a remmy in stainless with a fiberglass stock. the four of them just seem more robust and imo have less parts to really gum up.
