Adding new forums
I've seen message boards with so many catagories, it's impossible to keep anything straight. I also understand that each forum occupies memory space and eats up band width. What goes into the decision making process about new forums here? Are there any signs that less active ones would be deleted?
I'm asking because I'm curious, and because it may shed some light on why there's no Optics forum, along with all the other "wish list" forums.
If you can reply, mods and admin, thanks!

RE: Adding new forums
The forums are indeed cluttered. We're looking at re-organizing the way the forums are set-up and deleting some.. but no matter what we do... somebody will be unhappy.
So.. right now we add forums if we feel it's important (legislative alerts) or near to our hearts (left-handed archery classifieds).
I understand that there are requests that go unanswered. The only thing I can tell you is to send more money. errr.. I mean, we are listening... we just can't add everything. And we will keep forums such as Optics in mind.
Keep requesting... eventually we may break down. (I think Justin already had a breakdown... but that's a different story for a different day)
