Default Pop-Ups

Is it really necessary to have that same old tired pop-up on the main screen everytime I hit this page?

From what I hear, they are a big annoyance, especially for those who come here a few times a day. I personally use Mozilla Firefox for my browser so popups are blocked automatically. If HNI doesn't get rid of them, i suggest the Google toolbar if you use Internet Explorer.

Thanks PAHUNTER21. I am going to look at the Firefox browser today. Would any of the Mods like to comment about the pop-ups on HNI?

If you use a popup blocker make sure you edit your profile to read inline post instead of popup, otherwise you will not be able to make a new post or reply to them because they use a popup format.
FireFox works well in this case, because the reply-popup is spawned by request rather than the unsolicited popup you get when entering huntingnet.com.

So. I can assume that nothing is going to be done about the pop-ups.

Got it. FYI I do run SpyBot on my machine, and I don't have any spy ware on my system. The pop ups are coming from your home page. But I do undrestand that without the paid advetising by these companies this web site would not be free. I will just have to live with them, or either install Firefox for a browser. thanks for the replies.
