Why is there no ability to DELETE one's post?

You can go back and edit all of your text (including any titles) from your post but cannot delete it. Even the mods can no longer hard delete one of your posts (remove it completely from HNI). Instead, now mods can only soft delete a post. The net effect of a soft delete means members can't see the post but other mods and Admin can. Several mods questioned this and were told that removing posts completely wreaks havoc on topic continuity, etc. If you want a more detailed explanation of this, I'd recommend shooting Ibobi a PM as he's the main admin for HNI.
