How about new posts listed by thread?

How about new posts listed by thread?
The way the active post feature used to work was that it would list each thread that was active. Now it lists each post individually, which is a lot less useful.
Instead of having a 1 page list of all the threads that are active we get a 100+ page list of every post that' s been made to the board.

Thanks for the quick work on this Jeff. Unfortunately, the active links feature isn' t working for me.
When I click it, a small window appears, but it comes up with the " Page cannot be displayed" error message in it. I' ve tried refreshing without any change.
Any idea what I' m doing wrong?
