Just wanted to stop by,and give a word of thanks to all that were involved in setting up the new forum for disabled hunters.I'm glad to see that HuntingNet is aware of the many among us,that have some kind of disability. This doesn't always stop us from enjoying the thrill of hunting, but sometimes it may make it more difficult and physically challenging.
Together, maybe we can share ideas, and experiences, that will help one another.Keep up the good work folks, and I will be stopping by often to see how the forum is going. whack

It is good to see the new forum. My husband can still
get around but he's disabled from a stroke during brain surgery
and a bad car accident when he was 18.
Huntin' is gettin' harder and harder for
him and maybe y'all will have some answers to
make things easier
for him.Thanks y'all.

Hey fl.huntress!Yep,that is what this forum is all about, helping each other thru the tough times of life,so that we can stay in the woods, and continue to enjoy our way of life.I"ll be glad to try to help him out with anything that I can.If he runs into a specific
problem while afield, please pass it on to us.We'll put our tiny heads together(well hog51 and mine are tiny..lol)and come up with something I'm sure.Best of luck to you huntress and to the hubby!

My youngest has cerabal palsy and epilepsy he can't use one hand real well and he has a hard time walking for any distance on uneven ground but he's willing and it's broken my heart up to now to have to tell him he can't go. He's just getting old enough to really look into taking I think I've got a deer hunt set up for this fall he could go on but he will need somthing to help him hold the forend of a rifle.
