Default My buddy`s deer

This is a picture of my buddy`s deer that he shot yesterday with a crossbow. He is a right arm amputee. The deer was shot at 10 yds with a 90gr arrow. The arrow went right through the liver and exited the other side. The deer walked away, not ran. He waited 10 minutes before following the trail. It was getting dark and raining pretty hard. After an hour,he could not find it in the dark( the blood trail has washed away) so we went back this morning to search for it. It took 10 minutes to find the deer as it was just 50yds from wher he stopped searching.
We all feel a lot better on the recovery of the animal. I just wanted to share this little adventure with you folks.

Ron

Jack, I am not too familiar with the crossbow as he borrowed it from a friend but the name "Horton" comes to mind.
