wihunter Dont push anything and possibly make it worse
1dahunter, you are right. Matt took me to the cabin but I just stayed in and read a book while he hunted. He did see a "HUGE 12 point" from my favorite stand. Really makes me wonder if I had not broke this leg if I would have him on the wall with all the time off I had planned to hunt. He also saw a nice 8 point and a small 6. He didn't get a shot at the bigger ones because they didn't come in range. The smaller one he was drawn on but he decided he wanted the bigger ones. Guess we will be heading back out this weekend. I don't really know if I will be able to get out but I sure would like to.

Good luck everyone. Are we really the only team to have a deer so far?

I got back from my hunt yesterday. I saw a lot of nice bucks, but passed on them. I saw a main frame 10 pt with split brow tines that I aimed at twice and took the gun off safety both times, but he just wasn't what I was looking for. We put one of my friends in the blind where I had seen the deer; he hunted it for the last two days and never saw the deer.

I'm off to Kansas to hunt pheasant this weekend, but I'll be back at my lease next weekend trying to get the big boy.
