OFFICIAL RULES

Link to Boone and Crockett score sheet and instructions: [link]http://www.boone-crockett.org/bgRecords/bc_scoring_typwhitetail.asp?area=bgRecords&type=Ty pical+Whitetail+Deer[/link]

What if the buck is in velvet? Are there going to be any deductions in that case?

No deductions period!!! It's states green score, so you can score it immediately, velvet or not.

GroundHunter

Good change to allow field dressing before pic.

Don't know how strict you want to be but you might consider requiring some indicator that the pic is a current one . Could be a data & time stamp, or some other "date" reference such as a news paper / magazine / etc. in the pic. Don't know of any camera made today, except maybe those throw aways, that can not put a date & time stamp on a pic. OR showing a current news paper or preferably a current magazine in the pic should be simple enough for anyone to do.
