I have to agree with Double Creek......with 23 teams of 10, that's 230 participants....I'd be surprised if if 1/3 shot a buck.....that's around 75 bucks.....that's probably not going to happen......The team that will pull this contest out will have 3, maybe 4 bucks taken and at least one making P&Y....so any team taking a P&Y buck and having a couple members shooting decent bucks that might not be P&Y book can win. I wouldn't count any team out.....but of course Team Wall Hangers (18) has a good shot at it.....

I'm more curious as to whom will enter the first buck and then the first one to enter the first one over 125 inches.....it will be interesting to watch the Official Score thread.......I'll do my best but I hope everyone cooperates.

1st place and the big trophy to team 17 the unknown elements !!!
2nd place or the first losers bah who cares lol..

This really a shot in the dark though. There are to many unknown elements. I can really only go by the regulars on the teams to judge them by. Theres my predictions.
i could not have said it better [:-]

I have to agree, location is not the main factor, though it helps. I think it's dedication. It's going to be the teams that have the guy or guys that will sit in that stand from before sunrise to just after sunset. The guys that will have the determination not give up on a day that looks hopeless. Those are the teams that have best chance.

And following up that thought, it's going to be the teams that show that under no circumstances should an arrow be let go without the perfect shot seen through those sights.

We all have to remember it's the deer that comes first, the contest is way down that list in the great scheme of things.

I've explained to my team members that Winning without integrity is not winning at all. And everyone here agrees. If the sport doesn't win..no one wins.

So after that said I pick:
Team 10 (of course) Thanks for backing us up Shootem up870
Team 20
Team 8
Team 14
Team 4

I agree with everyone else it is gonna be fairly distributes as far as which teams due best, to me the biggest factors include(for each team): how serious each hunter is, experience, location, quality of hunting ground, LUCK, and number of bucks in area.

Since I'm supposed to guess heres my pick:
1. Team Pope and Young(always gotta root for the home team)
2. Wall Hanger
3. ILNYPAKY-EH
4. Lung Busters
5. Baskstrap Boys

PS: both ILNYPAKY-EH and Backstrap boys nick names are very suiting!! Backstreet Boys and illanpathetic eh(as buckeye put it!!!)

Should be interesting indeed.

Anything could happen. Team 10 is the sleeper in my opinion, that Idaho bowhunter is very humble but took 2 giant bucks last year.

The teams to score high will be made up of guys who aren't holding out for something big. We all know that even some of the best hunters don't take giant bucks every year. The top 5 will be a group of sleepers.
