Default Some scoring tips

The number one mistake I see people make is when scoring an eight point rack. Remember you must take four circumferences at the smallest point on each side no matter if it's a six pointer or a twenty pointer. Since there's not a fouth point to measure in between (G4) you must measure half way from the last point (G3) and the end of the beam and take the circumference at that point.

Another thing is when you score the main beam hold the rack so that you have a side view, not from the front. A small diameter cable works good for measuring the beams and tines. Hold the cable at the bur and keep it in the center of the beem all the way to the end. It works best if you tape the cable in place as you go up or have someone help hold it in place.

If anyone has some more tips please post them to help out the ones that may not have scored a rack before.
