Congratulations bowhuntinoh, I added your score to your teams count and edited your post in the official score card thread to note it was entered.

On a side note: Your bow is not in the picture as required in the rules. I know you took this deer with a bow cause Ohio doesn't have an open gun season at current. I note this so the rest of your team remembers to add the bow to the picture.

Where in the heck have I been Posting!?!?!? I think that I was in the Deerhunting Forum trying to make contact with this contest...bonehead.

Well update,(since I have been posting, but in another forum) I went out over the weekend and made a couple of mock scrapes around some good stand locations. Walked another 50yrds and found a Natural scrape already made. Made a doe bleat and heard a MONSTER feedback from a buck. I am hoping it is that 11 pointer that I have been tracking. If it is the 8 or the other 10 that will do. Anytime I can harvest an 8 I am more than pleased. Alot of traffic and alot of does in the area makes for some good breeding ground for the bucks.
I am indeed excited...!

I'm still not seeing many legal bucks here in my area. In fact only 1 legal buck so far this season. Lots of younger ones though. I have an extra 2 days off this weekend and I'm going to be on some new property so I hope my luck will change.

that little buck sure taste good but he wasnt what i was after we were set up on some does that feed in the field i thought he was a doe i dont evn buck hunt till the last week of october well i hope my buddy gets a shot at the buck ive been watching hes still there seen his tracks last sat

Congrats!! Good to see our team on the board!! I'm heading out this weekend to my Wt stand, lots of snow up here already so I can't wait :)

2 feet of snow right now, and 2 weeks ago it was +20 degrees Celsius (Sorry don't know the coversion, but maybe around 70 F) Like they say, if you don't like the weather in Alberta just wait 5 minutes LOL

Heres my buck (Will have my Bow next year for my Mulie...and maybe Moose, but I think its draw only there...even for bow hunters :()

Wow, awesome pictures aabuck! I'm so jealous! :D I'd love to live in such an area where I could be able to hunt mulies, moose, elk, bear, etc. Though I'd have a hard time convincing my wife to make the move. :):D

Ive killed mulies before but not like that . Maybe next year I will get a moose tag been sending in for one for 5 years to Maine .


Back to whitetails I passed on a small 8 point he was checking a scrape line on a tree line I grunted him over for a better look and decide not to take him have lots of time yet to hunt and to many bigger ones around.

think Iam going to take 2 week of Nov. off so I will be pretty picky till then . Hope the rest of you guys do well.

i killed me a monster doe this morning ........i was sitting in the stand and i thought i was going to die the wind picked up and the tree was moving like crazy.....well 7:30 came around the wind still gusting.....i looked over in the oak ditch there she was .....she came right under my stand.....i shot her at 15 yards...the arrow hit her spine and she droped right in her tracks.......she was a monster doe.....i shot this doe out of the same stand..... as i shot my first bowbuck oct 2nd....two deer this bowseason....buck and doe......pics will come later

Just checking in guys Ive been in the tree stand quite a bit seen lots of deer two that I would shoot both of them 2 1/2 year old bucks one a tall 10 the other heavey 8 hope you guys are doing good .BUcks are really starting to move seeing alot of scrap activite when it rains the are back to freshing them up.

Thought I would show you guys my best bow buck his gross is 142 3/8 the other racks are of bow also.

i hope you guys get some nice bucks the weather warmed up around here the deer are staying bedded i have seen some rubs and scrapes the geese arent even flying much i hope it cools off soon i did se 5 deer just after sunset yesterday it was gettin to dark to shoot i need a light on my sight

Same here. I've been skunked the past 2 times out on stand. Not a single deer moved through my area and I usually see at least a couple does. I'm hoping we get a nice cold front moving through soon. Should help get the rut fired up! :)

seen 2 wed night 1 doe 1 fawn i havnt had a day off in over a week working six days straight till this dang political mail is all gone im lucky to get out for an hour in the eveings now the dang geese wont even fly its 2 warm around here well good luck guys get some big bucks we need help

Had to take one for the team. Shot a decent 8 last night and found him this morning. He isn't a big buck but he'll give us 80-90 pts i'd guess. Still a lot of bigger guys running around so hopefully I'll get a shot at a better one now as we have 2 tags here in MI. Hope everyone else is doing well. Good luck.

I haven't forgot us. In fact I passed up a little 6 point because we need a better score and I need the buck I've been tracking. Should only be another week, less probably. I am hunting hard now.
8 point and myself had a staring contest for a bit. He gave up on me and followed a doe with his nose to the ground...

buckeye.....i trying to get the pics posted but scanner is messed up.....i have to go to school and do it and hunt 101 will not upload right now site is down for now....buckeye i took a wide 8 point with my 243 on juvenile.....he has a 19 inch inside spread 8 inch tines....big 8 point......congrats legacy on the buck with your bow..;)
