My season opens Oct 1, Last year I whacked a doe openning day and eat her the next day at work. I was painting a power plant and took the George Forman, I had a simi box dropped on the ground for a paint shop & The George plugged in at the back door, There was dudes cooking all day, Everytime I looked down off the 80 foot JLG there was crowd at my shop.
Yeap! Eat that doe in one day
I think I shoot to many doe's last year, They let us have 5 doe tags and one bow buck tag, This year I will whack my doe's eles where. I hunt the rut and 5 missing doe's in the Hood, Is'it good November 7..Get my drift Pardners
So dig this 'TEAM', I got 16 stands out over the last two years in prime Loess Hills hills. and I think I will stay out of there till the Juices get flowing and the 160's too 230 inchers get dumb and wonder around
I be whack'in them Doe's all over the State >> and you NEVER know what could walking by while I do that.
I got to get to work
SETUP[&o]
All my bows shoot, Old Red is always ready to whack a another one, My 60x indoor bow, has baged more then 10 bucks between three Hoods.
and my World Title shootin Scepter is just hanging up over there, Ready to go.
But BowTech has Donated 6 Bows to the Troops in Baghdad
I just might go buy me a new Bowtech, JUST BECAUSE.............

Pat, I sent you an e-mail about everyone on our team. I basically wanted to know if everyone has checked in yet so we can get alternates if we need to. For some reason I thought we had everyone accounted for so I responded that we didn't need anyone. However, if we do we should sign up.

I was wondering how long everyone on the team has been hunting? This is my second year bow hunting. (I've been gun hunting for 14 years now)
Bow hunting is SO much better then gun hunting, much more of a rush and I really like how much closer you get to the animals.

My dad bought me a tag in 1969, and I shot at a lot of deer before bouncing one off a limb and Sticking one in 1972, Then I became a Deer Slayer
hehe
Lets just say>> The hood has always owned a freezer and kept it full off Mother Nature. and filled a few others over the years too
I been lucky, when the big buck was dumb a few times too. Why I couldn't tell you how many times I had to drop my smoke out of my mouth to draw my bow on a big buck
I'm not drawing my bow inless it's a 170 plus or a flat top for the freezer
I be the Hood>>>RobbyHood>>and when the games begain

This is my 6th season with the bow. I've been gun hunting since age 17, so this is my 12th season with the gun. I only gun hunt because it's time that I get to spend with my family and it's always a lot of fun. I gun hunt with my dad, brother, brother in law and this year my 12 year old nephew. I haven't shot a buck with my bow yet(have let a ton of little ones go), but have shot 5 doe with it.

I've been archery hunting for 13 years now. I gun hunt as well but like stump said. It's mostly because I enjoy heading to camp with all my family and friends.

I've got some catching up to do on this post fellas... I've been MIA...
I've been hunting for 10 years or so.. I'm 26 years old.
My Set up: (Sorry guys... I'm not a Bowtech shooter... Please forgive)
Archery Research AR34
Beman ICS 400 CamoHunter carbon arrows
Muzzy 100 gr. 3 blade broadheads
Whisker Biscuit rest
Archer's Choice Sight Mount w/ TruGlo Tritium Pin
Scott release
I primarily hunt in Massachusetts, but get my early fix in Connecticut. MA starts Oct. 11 & CT starts Sept. 15. I'll be in IL for Oct. 18-22nd. I may be doing some bowhunting in Eastern NY as well.
