That's a nice lookn buck mathewsboy. I saw one yesterday that I would have loved to let the air out of but he stayed out at around 35 yards. He was a big 8 pointer with about a 20 inch spread and about 12 in G2's. Hopefully I'll put one through him soon.
Way to keep us in the lead. Good luck all

I shot a 7pt last night guys. He is not big at all will prob only score 60" or so. I was hunting in the western part of my state and had 1 buck tag for that area so I decided to take him, I thought he was bigger when I shot. I still have 2 buck tags for where I live and wasnt going to enter this guy in the contest, but decided not to break the rules. I figure every inch will help so I will contribute a little. I will post some pics later and score the rack tonight.

Congrats Lefty26 on the buck and I applaude you for not wanting to break the rules. It shows alot of your character.....
Your right as well in the fact that it's going to help your score. You guys have two entered thus far and leading but....team 20 has two on the ground and I believe will take the lead when entered...your buck being number 3 should put you back on top....nice job.

Congrats on the buck Lefty26!
i am for one glad you took him. Seems like the competion is starting to heat up. "Team 20" has two bucks that there getting scored and one of them is a bruiser! We need all the inch`s we can get. The rut is fixing to kick in and i have got a felling that some good bucks are going to hit the ground. I did see a buck this weekend that might have scored "30"

Alright here he is, with a little story. I took off work early yesterday and drove up to my buddies parents land in Allegany County. I got in my tree and was all situated, after about 10 mins I hit the grunt call a couple times. About a min later I hear a deer behind and turn to see a small spike, about 20 yards behind him is a nice 4pt. Well these 2 little deer decide to put on a show and start a knock down drag em out fight, 20 yards from my stand. Were not talking a little sparring here, they were pushing each other back and forth, crashing into brush and trees, knocking each other over. It was pretty awesome to see. They did this for a good 15 min, after they were done they continued past my stand, they got down wind of me and turned heading out of of site. I grunted at them a couple times but they kept on going. About 5 min later I hear another deer coming in behind me and its this guy,he is following the same trail the other 2 bucks came down, he is sniffing the ground looking all around, walks straight to me and stops at 15 yards and turns broad side. Well the rest is history, he got smoked.
For the area I was hunting he is not a bad buck, in hind site I probaly should have let him walk though, but I got caught up in the moment......and well its to late now.
I'm thankful for any deer I can harvest and am happy with him. He wont give us alot of points in the contest but he will provide meat in the freezer and a memory of a great hunt.

What are you talking about thats a fine looking buck!!
He is just what this team needed. I know the felling about watching two bucks fight I watched two very nice bucks last yr. fight just out of bow range one was a 120 class 10pt and the other ether an 8 or a nine i could not tell? But these two started fighting and all i can say is i was glad to be in a tree
After the fight was over one of the bucks ran off and the other turned and walked away in the other direction away from me and left me shaking so bad i had to sit down

That's a fine buck fer sure and you might be surprised what he gross's....it's your third for the team and well needed like I said above, team 20 has two impressive bucks downed and ready to enter and probably will take the lead until your buck for the third on your team. You guys keep raising the bar...congrats.

I put the tape to my deer and ended up with 74 1/8". I hope this is right I did it twice and ended up within a half an inch following the P&Y score sheet. Its a little more than I expected, sound right to you guys?
