I was out spotting the other night, after needing to get all my arrows refletched [:@] No shooters but tons and tons of does. 60 deer only 6 bucks, none were shooters. I don't understand. At this same point last year I had seen about 8 shooters by now.

Went out this weekend and set a couple of more stands up. Found a great looking area with a heavily used deer trail, and a couple of huge rubs (from last year). Got my stand set up and I feel that this is going to be the area in which I get my chance at a good buck. Also, I saw a great looking 10 point Sunday evening, near the previously mentioned stand location. He was wider than his ears and had decent tine length. This is only the second year for me to hunt this property, so last year was a learning experience to say the least. I feel as though I have the deer patterned pretty well, and I think I have a decent opportunity at taking a good buck. How's everyone else getting along in their pre-season scouting?

Just checking in just got back from Cody Wyoming. I bagged a 14 inch antelope with my 270. first morning of my hunt. My brother-in-law lives there he had him scouted for me on BLM land. Had the greatest fly fishing for trout the rest of the week that I ever experienced. I love our team logo and name.

Congrats on the antelope. I hope to make it out to hunt those someday. How was the process of getting a non-res tag?

For the most part I'm ready for the season, I just have 2 more stands to put up. Just about every night I drive around a look for deer. Once my digital camera/binoculars come in I'm sure I'll be able to post some good pics.(hopefully success pics )

Hey buckslayer, do you have any pics of your lope, sounds like a good one. Congratulations!

I just wrote the Wyoming division of wildlife in December for a nonresident hunting information and applications booklet. You have jan., feb., and march to put in for a antelope hunt. This was my 3 antelope hunt and I was done first day on each hunt. Tag is $237.00 I will post a picture in a few days when I get film developed.

As I was driving around yesterday evening, I was glassing a field and seen what looked like a turkey up in a tree. Well, it turned out to be a bald eagle. I knew they were down there, I just havn't got a good look at them. Do any of you guys have Bald Eagles were you hunt?
I think its neat to see these birds up close in the wild.
