Well my special hunt was unfruitful this year
I saw a few nice does and 1 funky looking 7 pointer but wasn't able to earn a buck due to work, school, and volunteer schedule conflicts.
A friend of a friend did shoot a monster 16 pt 250lb buck. I'm waiting for photos to post.

Boys , it has been a long time since i was on here , my computer has been all jacked up , but i finally got the sight to let me login while using internet explorer ...

The end of my archery season was not very productive , saw a few nice buck , and a bunch of doe. Rifle was the same old BS as usual , my dad got a monster 8 point though on the farm , and a kid i go to school with shot a big 8 on the property next to the farm , and said his deer came into his setup off our property.... I managed to shoot some doe , but let all the buck i saw pass .... the last day of the season i only saw one deer all day , they are so pressured now it is disgusting.... I will be back out after xmas in attempt to kill me a buck for this team...... dont get doubtful yet boys we still ahve time ....

Hello team--------HAPPY NEW YEAR

I would like to wish everyone on the team who is still hunting GOOD LUCK.My season is over and would like to appoligise to everyone for not contributing.
I promised myself this year that i would only take a big one and i didn't meet my goal,hopefully next year.
Its been great being on your team,and i feel that i know a little about each and everyone of you on a personal bases.I would definately be on the same team next year.I just wish we all weren't so far apart.

Happy New year to everyone!
I've spent the last week back home in Nashville and hunted Tuesday thru Friday, morning and evening. Tuesday through Thursday morning I went out with a 7mm and didn't see anything except 25 turkeys. Thursday evening I decided to setup a stand for bow over my brothers food plot. At 4:45pm A spike come walking into the corner of the food plot, he never slowed down he headed straight for my shooting lane as he gets there I draw back, he then turns straight towards me stops and looks up, he stares at me for about 20 seconds. He then turned to head back from where he came but a perfect broadside shot for me at 22yards. Just as I released he spun to his right away from me , I heard the arrow pass through but it sounded almost like a slap and not the deep thud of a good impact. he ran back into the woods and I could hear him crashing through the trees. I climbed down to check the arrow and it was covered in blood with a few bubbles on the vanes. I went to where he entered the woods and found a good blood trail, I was able to
follow it with out taking more than than one step without seeing blood and even more bubbles in the blood. After 300yds and crossing the creek three times I found him lying by the creek, only there were no spikes on his head, he had busted off both spikes running through the trees. The arrow passed through just above his shoulder and came out the lower part of his neck, but it hit a major artery. The entrance and exit hole were huge, I now like my spitfire mechanicals more than ever.
Sorry I didn't add any points for the team but I did put meat in the freezer. I still have some time in Illinois so hopefully I get a shot at the big boy.

for the rest of you i think my last day hunting will be the 13th? if i remember correctly i need to re-read my regulationa again. but we still have time and you better believe that i will be out there for every bit of shooting light left

Well fellas, today is the last day and it has rained more than 1 1/2" in the last 12 hours. I will be out tonight, wether it is raining, sleeting or snowing. Don't know what good it will do at this point, but I will be out anyway.

Sorry I talked so much crap and than couldn't back it up. Heck even buckeye outdid me. How sad is that??
